COMPANY FOUNDATION

Caviar de Neuvic's initial project could be summed up in a single line: to produce environmentally friendly caviar of excellence in France.

When Laurent Deverlanges, an aquaculture enthusiast, presented his programme, he quickly won over a group of partners who decided to support the project. They were mainly business leaders from the lifestyle, innovation and luxury sectors.

As the project progressed and investments were made, they were joined by investment funds from the luxury sector and local bank funds. These partners are making a major contribution to the success of the project.

The Caviar de Neuvic company is based in Périgord, in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. The 30-hectare estate is located in the municipalities of Neuvic and Sourzac, along the Isle River. This river, a pioneer in sturgeon farming, is home to three other sturgeon farms and was the site of the first caviar production in Aquitaine in the 1980s.

CAVIAR DE NEUVIC - A REMARKABLE COMPANY

In 2013, the France Initiative association, chaired by Mr Schweitzer and with the support of the Ministry for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), honoured Domaine Caviar de Neuvic by selecting it as one of the ten ‘outstanding companies’ of the year. This recognition praised the company's innovative approach.

Notably, this ‘outstanding company’ certification was reaffirmed in 2020, highlighting the company's consistent commitment to innovation and excellence and confirming its status as a major player in the caviar sector.

This distinction in 2013, followed by its renewal in 2020, has enabled Caviar de Neuvic to consolidate its reputation as a visionary and committed company, while asserting its growing influence in the caviar sector as a model of excellence and innovation recognised by the authorities and industry players.

OPENING OF THE PARISIAN COUNTER

In 2015, Caviar de Neuvic chose to set up shop on the left bank of the Seine, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris. Nestled in a stone and wood setting, the brand, symbolised by its famous little white box, opened its doors to Parisians, inviting them to enjoy a unique caviar tasting experience.

This innovative approach, inspired by culinary excellence and the creation of new rituals, has made this location much more than just a retail outlet; it has also become a permanent Paris office for the company.

Beyond its commercial role, Caviar de Neuvic has become a place for encounters and discoveries dedicated to exploring new experiences around caviar.

This location thus embodied the company's vision, combining the art of tasting, innovation and conviviality in an iconic setting, offering a new perspective on the world of caviar.

2020

OPENING OF THE BORDELESIAN COUNTER

In 2020, Caviar de Neuvic wrote a new chapter in its history by opening its very first restaurant in Bordeaux, located in the famous Passage Sarget.

Like its Parisian counterpart, the Bordeaux counter offers visitors a unique experience that combines a refined shop with a tasting room.

The Bordelais counter stands out thanks to a brand new catering service. Customers can now enjoy signature dishes from a French caviar producer.

This new culinary adventure reflects Caviar de Neuvic's ongoing commitment to providing first-class gastronomic experiences, sharing the passion and excellence that have made the company famous.

FIRST ORGANIC CAVIAR FROM FRANCE

In 2021, Caviar de Neuvic shifted its priorities towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

As a pioneer in the aquaculture sector, it has distinguished itself by becoming the first Mission-Driven Company in Aquaculture, as well as the first Mission-Driven Company in the Dordogne region.

Caviar de Neuvic also made history by obtaining the first organic certification for French caviar, a significant milestone in the quest for sustainable and environmentally friendly production.

In line with its ongoing efforts to promote CSR, the company has made a decisive commitment by initiating the B-CORP certification process.

2022

OPENING OF THE LYONNAIS COUNTER

In 2022, the famous little white box will be established in Lyon.

This fourth boutique of the brand is located in the heart of the second arrondissement, near Place des Jacobins.

There is an obvious affinity between the Jacobins and Caviar de Neuvic: a culture of elegance, a spirit of impertinence, a passion for encounters. With its restaurants, designer boutiques and luxury brands, the Jacobins district is the beating heart of the peninsula.

Following a successful restoration in 2012, the Jacobins district continues to write the history and legends of the Lyon way of life.

This shop represents a new opportunity to showcase its expertise, shake up conventions, modernise, demystify and simplify caviar.

B CORP CERTIFICATION

Caviar de Neuvic joins the community of B Corp certified companies.

This award completes a journey of commitment that began when the company was founded: by demonstrating that it is possible to produce caviar under certified organic farming conditions, and then by adopting the status of a mission-driven company.

Today, with B Corp certification, Caviar de Neuvic proves that fish farming can also be part of a demanding process and obtain global certification for its practices.

Caviar de Neuvic wishes to inspire other players and its stakeholders to embrace responsible practices and contribute to creating a sustainable future.
